Situated on the edge of the popular Exmoor village of Wheddon Cross and close to Snowdrop Valley and Dunkery Beacon the Travellers Rest self catering holiday accommodation is ideally located for enjoying the delights of ExmoorNational Park.

Walks start from your door leading to open moorland where one hopes to spot Exmoor's famous red deer and Exmoor ponies or perhaps a walk along the nearby coastal path and enjoy the fabulous views of our coastline. Horse riders will find several riding stables nearby and we are on the Exmoor Cycle Route for mountain bike enthusiasts

Or you may just wish to take a leisurely drive and enjoy the scenery or discover hidden Exmoor with the local safari company based in Wheddon Cross.

The Travellers Rest is very well equipped, very cosy and comfortable - a real home from home.

It comfortably sleeps 4 with a double bedroom, small double and a bed settee if required. Bathroom and shower room. Private parking, garden and patio.

It is close to the friendly village of Wheddon Cross with its popular pub - The Rest and Be Thankful Inn where you can sometimes find evening entertainment and of course always get lunch or an evening meal.

You can often find local events to visit and support in Wheddon Cross and the surrounding area- be sure to see what's on in the local paper.
